I am thinking about making some cell phone wallpapers. Please let me know what you think about the idea and I will check into it. This is one I made for my phone! I will have desktop wallpapers and Firefox Themes to match it!

I don't know about you but I am so ready for some warm weather! Our weather report has been the same for about 2 weeks. Rain and bit of snow, cold nights and sunshine breaks! My Mom always said never leave the house without a jacket because you never know!

I have been having so much fun playing around with AI for my themes and wallpapers. Spending way too much time at it. But I always get my work done!

One thing I should mention about my themes, they look much better if you add an extra toolbar at the top. Just go to View at the top/Toolbars and add another toolbar.

Had my 85th birthday last month, but we didn't make a big deal of it. Just another day! 

Our daughter has been doing most of our Costco shopping but we made a trip in this morning! So busy and we got there before they opened. But I had several things to return and don't ask anyone to do that for me. So we are stocked up for awhile. I have been cleaning out my clothes closets, too and had a backseat of the Xterra full of bags. Now I can start on some other drawers, etc. I am not going to clean out my cooking stuff because I never know what or when I might need something! I have been making a lot of different kinds of muffins with new recipes. Have to exchange sugar for monk fruit because my dear hubby has to watch the sugar. I am making one I call oatmeal cakes. I got the original recipe on line but I have totally changed it and they are so good and so healthy. Quite a job to make because they are layered and that always takes time. But time I have!

Well I think I will start dinner. I hope you are all having a lovely March. I know there are fires and snow and rain so I am sorry if that is what you are having. 

We have to turn all our clocks ahead an hour this Sat. night. New clocks that automatically update are wonderful but we have a bunch of old ones that don't! Cars have to be changed...there is always at least 1 that I forget. I usually do it on Sat. afternoon and then we are confused the rest of the day what the actual time is. I like to confuse my hubby once in awhile.

Going to our oldest son's home this week end for Nachos and Uno. We have so much fun getting together and are trying to do so more this winter.

Well, February is over half over...but I am finally getting to the blog. Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day and the weather is treating you well. Sounds like somewhere everyday there are weather problems.

Did you watch the Super Bowl? We had all the kids over, ate pizzas, played Uno and since the game didn't start till 3:30 here we started our celebrations at noon! Had a great time. Lots of laughs and love. And the team I was backing won~That is the reason I made the theme "The Kiss"! I know some people think it is really dumb but at least these 2 are actually "nice people"!  

Been using a lot of AI to make themes and having a good time. Because of my back I stand up at computer and don't do much sitting during day at all. Feel much better that way.

I will have my 85th birthday in a week or so. Hard to believe I can be that old. It sounds soooo old! But I am doing ok. My husband is 88 now and he is doing well, too. Both of us keep so busy I think that is a lot of it. You just can not sit around and feel good. 

Our grandson that had that horrible fall and brain injury is doing so well. He is going to have to wear a hearing aid they think, because the brain surgery, ear surgery they did, didn't really help his hearing in the one ear. But we are so thankful he is doing so well.

Our oldest son will be retiring in April and they are planning a 6 week trip to Alaska and get some fish! She is going to can some of it while they are up there and have the rest flown down. They are doing a lot of planning so I hope it is a wonderful experience for them. They both work hard and deserve this. 

We watched Oppenheimer on Peacock last night and really enjoyed it. We don 't go to movie theaters anymore, so were pleased we could actually watch it. 

The new medicine the Pain Clinic prescribed has really helped me. I wonder why a Dr. didn't prescribe it years ago. It is for Fibromyalgia and I have had that for 40 some years. It works on the nerves so has actually helped the nerves in my fingertips that would turn white and hurt from Raynaud's. And helps the nerves in my back and legs.

2024 is going to be fun year with all these politics. I am frankly tired of it already! And we have a long way to go!

 I got a nice letter from a theme user telling me I should have my grandson set up an account so users could donate some money for my themes. But I really don't want to do that. BUT I decided I would accept Amazon gift cards if anyone felt so declined. We order a lot from them because we don't go out a lot. I hope that doesn't offend anyone but I do work hard at it. I have to admit I love doing it, though.

Cold, yucky March is just around the corner so guess I will start on some St. Patrick's Day themes!

Light of Orchids

What a start to the new year! Sounds like everyone in US is having weather problems. We broke the record for cold here at 3° couple nights ago. But with NE wind is was 22 below. We put a blanket between the family room and the living room. The family room has a gas stove in it so it would be fine but we have the wood stove in the living room and if you have ever had wood heat you know that is the only way to go. But my husband slept in his lounger in the living room to make sure to keep the fire going all night. We have a propane furnace, too, but the price of propane doesn't meet our current income status! I work in my computer room with a hoodie, gloves and fur lined boots!

Our youngest son is 63 today so our kids are all coming over and celebrate his birthday and play Uno. 

Really haven't been doing much, except my usual baking, cleaning and working on themes. Been making a lot of new ones but since I am still updating older ones I can only submit so many a day. But I am having fun and hoping my computer holds up. This is where most of them are stored. And my back up hard drive hadn't been updating since 2022 so I unplugged it. I need to get a new one but everything is so expensive.

My 85th birthday is next month. I don't feel that old, most of the time! 

I hope you are all keeping your Firefox up to date. It's very important for security reasons. So, if you haven't done it for awhile, check and see if you need to.

Hope this finds all of you well out there and not in the deep freeze. We got all 3 of our "shots" for the winter and take C and zinc everyday.

I didn't send any Christmas cards out this year so hope you all that didn't get one, had a Merry Christmas. Now lets hope for a great News Year....even though we are in the middle of elections season!
