Fall in Love

I can't believe it has been so long since I checked this blog. I knew I wouldn't have a lot of time to keep it up, and I feel bad about that! (If anyone out there actually reads it.)  

I had the idea for this Persona over the weekend. I saw the words fall in love and thought, "what a neat idea for a design!"  My head is so full of ideas of things I want to do, but then there are things I have to do so the things I want to do, don't get done! But that is life. We have responsibilities and we should be glad we do, I guess. But I did take the time to work on this design this morning. And I am proud of the way it turned out. 

I will try, (I said "try") to check in at least once a week and I thank all of the people that support my Persona designs and wallpapers. And I wish you all a good week. Enjoy the last days of summer because winter is just around the corner.

I really like this Persona design.  I have always loved anything Native American and am working on a few more designs.

When I was a little girl, my brother and I would play "Cowboys and Indians", and I was always the Indian. A few years ago I got into working on our family genealogy and found out I actually have Native American blood in my veins. So, maybe it comes naturally.

We have been having abnormally hot weather, but today you can start to feel the nip in the air in the morning. Fall is coming quickly.

I am proud to say we have a new member in our family.  Our second great grandson, William Michael was born this week and we welcome him into our family with open arms.

     Wow, but I have been having so much fun working with Photoshop. I think I may be finally getting it down. Well, part of the time. There are still a lot of things I don't know how to do. But I have been working on desktop wallpapers and Persona's to match. This one is very popular. Mothers Birthday

     Today is my Mom's birthday. She died in 2002 of ovarian cancer.  I made a Persona in support of the research to find a cure for this horrible disease. 
     So, today is a sad day for me because I still miss her so much. Happy Birthday Mom, and no more suffering.

Sunsets Reflection

     It is beginning to look like fall here. Gives me an excuse to work on the computer more. I submitted this Persona today. As you can probably tell, I love sunsets. I think they are calming and serene. What could be more romantic than sitting in front of a bonfire with the one you love, watching a sunset? I have been married for 53 years, which to most of you is more than your lifetime, but he is still the one I want to be looking at sunsets with.

     I thought it was time I made a Christmas design Persona so I made a collage of Its a Wonderful Life photos. This is my daughter's favorite movie and she watches it all year long. 

     I have been very busy making themes for my other project and it is going very well. Now, if we can just sell a few it would make some of the time I spend here worth while. 

     I still enjoy designing the Personas, though and will keep at it as long as people use and enjoy them.

It is hard to believe it is August already and the leaves will be changing into their beautiful colors. I think fall is the prettiest time of year but it means the cold weather is on it way and I don't like that very well.  I hope you all have a beautiful Sunday. Thanks for stopping by.
