Wow, what a lot of turmoil we have going on the world today. I hope everyone who voted for "him" are happy. Most of the people are a bit worried. I know we can't afford to spend $3800.00 more a year to just keep our standard of living we have now. We have cut corners already. And there isn't much more we can cut!
We had our monthly family UNO Sunday last week and one of our sons had a cold. He was almost over it so figured no one would catch it, but his 89 year old Dad did. And boy, does he have it. He can't stop coughing. I have had a cough for almost 4 years now, especially at night. But what he has is so bad. I begged him to let me call someone last night to take him to hospital, but after the terrible way I was treated last summer at the hospital, neither one of us ever want to go back. So I understand his hesitancy. But if he has a night like last night we will contact our Dr. tomorrow. So our 68th wedding anniversary was yesterday and no dinner out, which we couldn't afford anyway. Our daughter made Chicken Masala with pita brad and brought it out, but neither one of us wanted that much for dinner, so we will have it for lunch today IF we feel like it, otherwise for dinner.
I worked hard on a technology theme yesterday that I just submitted. I worked with AI and then with my PhotoShop to work it into a theme. Had to move lots of stuff, resize stuff, etc. but was so pleased with it when I was done. I just submitted it, so when it is approved I will post a pic of it in here. I also made a cell phone wallpaper of it, too and will post that now!
I am still working hard on themes. I am still learning to do new stuff, at 86! It takes a little longer but it pays off.
I won't post anymore cell phone wallpapers unless I hear from people that they want them.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying spring. I am hoping we get to enjoy it soon. The weather is raining all this week so guess it's a good time to be under the weather.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about the cold your husband has. That cough sounds brutal. Another option you could try is an urgent care center -- especially if you can't get in to see your doctor.
Thanks, DW. For some reason I can't sign in, so I am unknown! He is beginning to get better and so far I haven't caught it. Or maybe it's waiting for him to get well before it hits me, so he can take care of me! Have a great Easter!
ReplyDeleteI've checked in here every other day to see if there's an update about your life and circumstances. I was kinda worried about you and now it turns out that your husband is feeling so bad. I'm sooo sorry for he's being sick and for your times of trouble and all the other adverse circumstances. Wishing you all the best in everything.
