Sounds like everyone is having horrible fall weather! Cyclone Bombs, hurricanes, etc. We had all kinds of weather alerts over the weekend but we were very lucky and nothing strange happened. We always get a lot of rain and wind so it wasn't any worse than normal right here in "MaDonna Land"! I hope everyone got through whatever they got.

It sounds like kids will be able to get vaccinated very soon but so many parents aren't going to get them vaccinated. More than 40% of the patients in our county are children so it will be a hard decision but I think I would have mine vaccinated.

I think I mentioned my back bothering me...well I finally got my MRI and the Dr. called and said he couldn't believe I was doing so well after seeing the MRI. It showed, Multilevel spondylosis, Multifactorial severe central spinal canal stenosis at L4 & L5 and complete obliteration of the central canal! No wonder my back has been hurting and my legs going numb! The orthopedic surgeon that did my knee is pushing my surgery up. He has 400 surgeries delayed because of Covid but I am supposed to go in this Thurs. and get my back surgery. But I just read that the hospital has more Covid patients than they have ever had so I am so hoping they don't delay it. I went for my Covid test this morning. You have to have a test before any surgery. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I am trying to get a lot of stuff done before Thursday. I am doing all of my floors today so they will be super clean, going to make a couple loaves of pumpkin bread tomorrow and get the house all cleaned good.

I am still working on getting Halloween and Autumn themes updated. I won't finish the Halloween ones finished before this Halloween, though. I can only get so many submitted a day!

This blog must be so boring for people to read and I am sorry. Not much going on here! I was asked to submit a short comment about making my Autumn Leaves theme because Mozilla is going to feature the theme in their https://addons.mozilla.org/blog/ I really didn't know what to write so will have to wait and see what it sounds like. I will post the link when it is live.

I will get back to Firefox themes, updating, designs as soon as I can. And you know it will be soon IF I get the surgery this Thursday.

Thanks for you comments. I am afraid I can't bed of any help in your blog. I have enough of a problem knowing what to write on mine. My blog is so different from what yours would be. Mine is more personal and yours will or should be more to get people to your site.

(A little about me)

I once said I never wanted a computer, BUT...
one of my grandson's is in the IT Department at WWU and installed Firefox when he built my desktop computer. I really like it and won't use any other browser now. It is safe, fast and has tons of extensions to make it easy for your browsing. One of the add ons they have available are themes which they used to call Personas. They had been called Personas for several years and became very popular, but someone at Mozilla got the bright idea to change the name. I have been making theme designs for my own personal Firefox ever since it was installed. Then it was opened so you could submit designs for approval in 2008. My design called Sunset Over Water had over a million and a half people using it at one time. It is from a photo I took off Chuckanut Drive on our way home from a wedding.

I have always been interested in design. When I was a little girl I designed clothing for my paper dolls. Then designed and made clothes for my regular dolls. I made most of my own clothing in high school. When I was older I designed, sewed and made our 3 kids clothing. When they got married and started having babies I made tons of clothes for our 7 grand kids. I decided to sell some of my designs. Fibromyalgia decided to put a stop to that. Sewing for hours a day was just too much.

I am a bit of an over-achiever and when I start something, I don't know when to quit! I have done a little bit of sewing for our great grand kids, but I know I have a limit and when to stop.

I used to design and make jewelry and sold at bazaars which was a lot of fun.

I work on themes and desktop wallpaper designs almost every day and have enjoyed hearing from people all over the world.

I was asked to design themes for Brand Thunder. They have theme designs for people that use Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and also Firefox. In 2012 I won a Nexus 7 tablet on a pop culture contest they held. They have changed their format so I don't make designs for them anymore.

I now use Photoshop Elements to make my designs. It is a very complicated program to use, especially at my age of 82.
