DOUBLE RAINBOW

Last night I went to pull the shade and there was the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen and it was a double! It was raining and I had my pajamas on (again) but I ran out and took a bunch of photos. This one is one of the best, but my camera doesn't do it justice.

Of course, I had to submit a Persona to match! The problem with Personas is there is not enough room to show much of a design. So, this was the best I could do. Hope you all like it. Personally I think it was worth getting sopping wet to get the shot.
Last week was a pretty good week. Our great grandson got to spend Friday with us the whole day. You can imagine how active a 5 1/2 year old can be. He loves bull riding, and since we don't have a real bull, he gets to "ride" the foot stool we inherited from my Mom. Needless to say, it is not in the excellent condition it was when we bought it home. I hope she doesn't mind! He has been riding it since he was under 2 and has way outgrown it, but I am not going to tell him he can't ride it anymore. It is always Great Grandma that ends up with the injuries, though! His bony elbow hit my bony hand so I have a big bruise on the back of my left hand. You see, I have to hold him when he is in the "chute" so the "bull" doesn't get out of control! But it was great fun.
Fall has definitely set in as you can see by the color of our trees. And it is snowing in the mountains. I am hoping I can get some snow photos this year, but I don't want to take them at our house! The Farmers Almanac says we are in for a hard winter and we get northeasters blowing out of the Frasier River Valley that are so bad! So I am hoping they are wrong.
Back to work, so hope you all have a super week and enjoy the colors of fall. The leaves will be gone soon and the dreariness of winter will set in.
