Midweek

Floral Exotica

Another beautiful day in NW Washington. I love this weather. It isn't too hot nor too cold. Just perfect!

Been real busy working on themes and wallpapers. The above theme I made with just using Photoshop brushes. I was pleased with the muted look. It is easy on the eyes, too. Which makes a big difference to me right now. I have to wear my glasses when I am doing close up work but they really don't fit my eyes since the surgery. I can't wait until I can get new lenses for my glasses! Today is the last day I have to put drops in the first eye that was done.

My husband hasn't been feeling very well. He just can't seem to get over the last session with AFib. He is on a new medication to try to keep his heart rate even but hasn't been on it long enough to know if it is working. And we don't know if that is causing him to feel so low. I told him it just might be his new normal at 81, but we are both hoping that isn't so. Getting old is great IF you feel good, but there comes a time when you don't.

I really don't have anything exciting to write about today so guess I will get back to work. I noticed that I had made an error on my last post so thought I would get on and fix the link!

I just checked to see how many had viewed the video of me that Mozilla put on in their article and was surprised that over 4,000 people had viewed it. They want me to do some more interviews after I am finished with this cataract thing. So I am looking forward to that. Should be kind of fun...and anything that will bring more people to use Firefox and take advantage of all the great extensions they have available...I am more than willing to do.

Hope you all are having a good week. Keep well.

  1. I just watched the video profile of you. I have been happily using your personas and wallpapers for years, and it was so nice to see the space where you create. Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us. And hang in there on the cataract surgery.

    1. Thanks so much. I felt rather foolish doing the interview but it was fun. If I can do anything to help promote Firefox and more users I will do so.

  3. Thanks, Heather. I actually didn't know I was featured on the Firefox Home Page. I will have to check it out. Thanks for becoming a fan! The fans are the reason I do this. ♥
